Pete has great knowledge of the autos he sells and holds true to his words and is very straight with you and have fun also .And Bob in finance was great we were in and in 28 minutes and thats on a busy saturday . I found a 2009 RAV4 on their web site. I called and spoke with Wael and he was extremely helpful. I called him back twice more before driving down to see the car.I've read the other reviews and was a little worried about going down there, but I was pleasantly suprised. I ended up purchasing it the same day. I was absolutely impressed by the friendliness of everyone I spoke with. My salesman Wael was awesome, the sales manager was great, and the finance manger was fun to work with. I have never enjoyed buying a car this much. I usually find it to be a chore, especially being a single woman. I'd been shopping around for a couple of months and many salespeople have treated me like I'm an idiot, assuming I hadn't done my research or that I couldn't add. They were very upfront with their pricing, there was no high pressure sales. I walked in with the numbers I wanted, we talked and walked out with my car. I can honestly say that I will send everyone I know to Wael at Gurnee Hyundai. I know the other reviews on here are not positive, so I wonder if there's been a general change in management (I know the finance manager is new to the store). Seriously, I would send my kids there to buy a car if there were old enough to drive. The staff was so friendly, the process was so easy and my car is incredible. I LOVE GURNEE HYUDAI!

I sent an email yesterday and received a call back very quickly from a young man named Matt Knoll. He assisted me and I stated I would be in at 9:00AM today. I arrived and he had the car I wanted waiting for me, which I test drove. He was so nice and honest; the deal was completed in a very short period of time. GREAT!!! experience. Incidently, I was told that nearly everyone there is new.

Great Dealer Nothing but a great experience. Bought 2 cars from them gave me a great deal and love the financing options they had. I would buy from the again but it may be a while because of the great warranty options Hyundai has. The sales guy I worked with was Don Hirshfeld look him up when your there. And no this is not Don's mother writing the review.
my point of view i was at that dealer and found them to be pleasant, honest, and to the point. i just go and buy my cars. i look at the invoice on the internet and go pay a small profit. why do all you people spend hour after worthless hour shopping a hunded dealers for a car that has the smallest profit margins in the business? and why would you drive in a across the state for something that sounds too good to be true. you cant have a super great deal and get special financing as well. these dealers are trying hard to earn your business in a very competitive marketplace. and all you cyber surfers help promote the smoke and mirrors game because the only way to sell you a car is to get you into the dealership. just look at the invoices posted on edmunds.com and go offer them an honest profit. quit crying about those guys. they are all very nice and just trying to earn a living.... how hurt can you possibly get buying a car with less than a 3% margin? quit whining!!!!!!

I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WAY THEY OPERATED.. THEY WANTED MY BUSINESS AND WAS WILLING TO NEGOTAITE A FAIR PRICE THAT I AM VERY HAPPY WITH... THE LADY WHO FILLED OUT OUR FINANCE PAPERS, WHILE VERY PROFFESSIONAL.STAYED CALM AND PATIENTLY ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS.. (AND WE HAD MANY)... THE MANAGER MADE IT EASY TO EXPLIAN MY CONCERNS ABOUT PURCHASE.. HE WAS ABLE TO FIT ME IN AND KEEP HIS WORD... THAT IS IMPROTANT HE KEPT HIS WORD.....HONESTLY IS IMPORTANT.. STRIAGHT TALK IS IMPORTANT...ALL OF THEM OPERATED STRIAGHT UP!!!! OF ALL CARS I HAVE BOUGHT... THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST...BILL FERGUSON.....AND TO ANSWER THE QUESTION BELOW... I bought a used vehicle here. It was the first used vehicle I had. Upon driving, I noticed a few things and brought it in. The way the dealership dealt with me and the Service Advisors, I work more directly with Paul, it made dealing with the car much more easy. They treated me with respect, I explained in detail the issues that I was having, they continued to ask questions to help me explain it. In addition, the texted me throughout the time explaining what was happening with the vehicle and what they were doing. After 30 years of having experience with dealerships, Gurnee Hyundai was the first place that I felt that my concerns/issues were important and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.
